Each Casonas MX property is a historic UNESCO building. The rules below help us preserve them — and help you enjoy a peaceful stay.
Check-in is 3:00 – 4:00 PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request and subject to availability — coordinate directly with your host.
Only registered guests may stay overnight. The maximum number of guests is specified for each property. Daytime visitors may be received in common areas with prior notice to the host.
Smoking is not permitted inside any property. Outdoor terraces and patios may be used for smoking — please dispose of cigarettes responsibly. A $200 USD cleaning fee applies if evidence of indoor smoking is detected.
Pets are not allowed at any Casonas MX property. Service animals are welcome with prior notice — please inform us at booking so we can prepare accordingly.
Small gatherings within the registered guest count are welcome. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM out of respect for our neighbors in the historic center. Larger events, parties, or celebrations exceeding the registered guest count require prior authorization.
All Casonas MX properties are historic buildings within the UNESCO-protected walled city. Original architectural elements — stone columns, arches, pasta tile floors, carved wooden doors — are irreplaceable. Please treat them with care. Do not hang objects from the walls or move heavy furniture without consulting your host.
Pools are unsupervised. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No glass is permitted in pool areas. Terraces should be used responsibly — please do not lean on railings or place heavy objects near edges.
Each property is equipped with a lockbox or smart lock. Access instructions are provided 24 hours before check-in. Please ensure all doors and windows are closed when leaving the property. Lost-key replacement fee: $50 USD.
Daily cleaning is included at the larger properties (Casa Japa, La Casa Verde, Casa Zotz). For other properties, a mid-stay cleaning is available on request. Please leave the property in reasonable condition at check-out — we understand you're on holiday.
Campeche is a water-conscious city. We ask guests to use water responsibly. Towels left hanging will not be replaced; towels on the floor will be laundered. Air conditioning should be turned off when leaving the property.
